1932 Reo Flying Cloud Model 621
CARROLL STREET AUTO
Manchester, NH 03102
Fall Sale! The leaves are dropping and so are our prices! On offer here is one of the finest examples of an REO Flying Cloud in existence. This beautiful car underwent a nut-and-bolt restoration in the late 1990s that still presents incredibly well, a testament to the quality of the restoration and the minimal miles it has been driven since completion. Under the stately hood is an inline six that, along with the transmission and rear end, was completely rebuilt (electric fuel pump installed for optimized reliability). Boasting even panel gaps all around, the Flying Clouds solid body was refinished in correct Navy Blue lacquer, has had all its chrome replated and has had new glass fitted. Furthering the allure of this classic are the dual side-mounted spares, color-matched wire wheels with wide whitewall tires and a rear-mounted trunk. Highlighting the interior are gray Mohair upholstery, refinished woodgrain accents on the dashboard and door panels, and refurbished instruments, wiring and heater. Elegant accessories fitted to the Flying Clouds spacious rear compartment include window shades and assist straps. Also included are tools, the jack assembly, engine crank and service manuals. Topping its list of impressive credentials, this 1932 REO Model 621 Flying Cloud is a 16 time AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Senior Grand National winner. With only 1,700 miles driven since that high-end restoration and recently tuned up and serviced, this rare classic is ready to thrill its next owner, whether it be parked on a concours show field or wafting down a country road.
