This 1941 Chevrolet Coupe Gasser not only gives you the tall stance of an unmistakably speedy style, but also it has the well-built dual-quad stroker V8 to make sure the car lives up to its winner's circle image. And when an authentic build is wrapped around iconic curves, well then, you know there's style and substance to go with the speed.

You already know the iconic presence the right pre-war coupe brings to the show. It has a touch of moonshiner legacy that seems to go perfectly .....
with the outlaw style a good gasser has. But while a liquor runner liked to be incognito, this one has a ton more showmanship. After all, the blue metallic paint is quite radiant, and while they correctly deleted the front bumper to save weight, it just means the chrome grille is even more of a hallmark feature. There are even nice details, like the clean body lines, full-length trim with red inserts, and clear tri-bar headlights. It has an overall nice style, but all the hand-painted logos on the side remind you that this never wants to get so fancy that it's not a contender. After all, you have all the hallmark pieces for a classic gasser king, like the bright slotted mag wheels, an extra-wide rear set, and the solid front axle that lets this one sit nice and high. It's that ideal mean machine attitude.

The interior is the right mix of speed and style. The fundamentals are well done with an updated, comfy gray velour on the seats, and the carpet, headliner, and door panels present very well. The dash keeps its vintage style, and classic gasser additions include racing lap belts and a metallic blue steering wheel on a quick-release mount. And while it all looks cool, this also has the proper features when you want to drive. This includes a Stewart Warner auxiliary gauges trio, and a Hurst floor shifter, and the large tach mounted prominently on the dash is like a head-up display.

Gassers have a unique style that are also built with a purpose. They try to make big power while eliminating weight up front. So this 383 cubic-inch stroker motor was the right choice for a powerhouse. It gives you big block displacement in a small block weight. We love the look of the large velocity-style air grabbers that peek out of the hood and announce the dual Holley four-barrel carburetors underneath. Other performance upgrades include an Edelbrock high-rise intake, Mickey Thompson finned valve covers, steel braided lines, and headers flowing right to the side-exit exhaust. Keeping you in firm control of the power is an AutoGear Syracuse competition-style four-speed manual transmission, and the rear end is even aided by ladder bars. Plus, you have the superior stopping power of four-wheel disc brakes.

The sale comes complete with build receipts and maintenance records. This is the fun outlaw gasser coupe with an awesomely powerful heart. Call now!
