This 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline Deluxe has that cool classic shape we rarely see. And as you dig deeper, you discover the right investments that make for a more desirable cruiser - all without betraying the vintage nature.

This Chevy has all the right curves. The fenders, the hood, and the wraparound bumper give it that classic front end that could have only come from Post-War America. Everything from the two-piece windshield to the torpedo-like rear fenders gives this one a nice .....
vintage look. So you can tell they took some time to make sure it stayed feeling like a true classic then they restored this in later years. So the dark gray paint has the right look of a post-war car, but the added metallic element lets it radiate the right touch of nostalgia. There's also an addition of American Racing Torq Thrust wheels with a nice set of whitewalls. We like it because it adds flair without being too out of place on this classic. It's just the right added cruiser attitude a Fleetline deserves. After all, these are sought-after for the rounded rear that gives it a fastback-like profile.

The right mix of vintage and upgrades returns inside. You can tell the door panels, carpeting, and headliner were updated later in life. It makes it feel fresh without getting modern or radical. You especially understand that with the upholstery. You still get two wide rows of classic benches, but the beige and brown two-tone is upgraded to a detailed setup with attractive piping. It does a good job of upgrading the atmosphere without feeling out of place. There are even nice details like the working dome light, working AM radio, and a fully finished trunk. You get a great vintage feeling just by slipping behind the large and grippy factory wheel and looking out at the full art deco-style dash. So it's the kind of cruiser that can turn back the clock.

The engine bay is nicely detailed with the classic AC offset air intake and an overall tidy style. And they even added a touch of flair with the head cover painted metallic gray to match the exterior. The powerhouse is Chevy's inline-six, and in fact, the correct-style 216 cubic-inch even has the engine stamp to match the current VIN. The whole driving experience is about having fun with a bygone era (after all, if you didn't want nostalgia you'd be looking for a fuel-injected restomod.) So this one knows how to keep you in touch with the mechanical feel, right down to the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.

Complete with title documentation, this is a true classic cruiser that has a truly irresistible level of style. Call today!!! This vehicle has a current and clean FL title. Before that was a clean Michigan title in 2016. However, we do have a national title report that mentions something about a salvage report in 2021 but is unclear if it pertains to this vehicle or a different one sharing similar partial vin numbers. Either way we want any potential buyer to have this information. Please inquire for more details.
