Car collector enthusiasts! Here is a dream car that had spent most of it's life in Beverly Hills CA, in a private collection, and for the last decade has spent sitting dormant in a climate controlled environment here on the east coast. With only 30,867 actual miles, this cream puff has only been in the hands of collector car enthusiasts. Just think the stories it could tell! Lets get to the nuts and bolts... The exterior paint is 70% original, the top side has been refinished in lacquer, with .....
perfect matching paint, all due to age from years of polishing. The chromed front and rear bumpers still have that show quality shine to them. All the bright work is super nice and all original. Original fender skirts. The drive train is 216 over head valve 6 cyl., cast iron block rated at 90hp @ 3300rpm. 3 spd. manual column shifter, rear axle consists of a semi-floating with hypoid drive and 4.11:1 gear ratio. Torque tube drive with tubular propeller shaft, both fully enclosed. Convenience options are: Deluxe push button radio, radio antenna, deluxe heater and defroster, white side wall tires, directional signals, back up lights, power convertible top, master grille guard and Burgundy leather interior with tan striped pattern. Free breathing pile fabric deluxe series upholstery trim, Completely original with wear or tear. All the dash and instrument cluster is original and well preserved and original paint on the dash with no fading. Door panels and hardware are also original. Windows roll up and down with ease. All the glass is original including the windshield. Only the carpet had been replaced and the back seat looks as if no one has ever sat in it. No cracks in the original steering wheel. Radio is inoperative. Looking under the hood of this fine example, notice the windshield washer bottle...an option back in 1950. The wiring and all the engine components are original and even the inner fenders and fire wall have original paint with the factory markings. Equipped with a 6 volt system, this beauty whispers to you. Beautifully detailed, well preserved, drives like a dream. Just serviced. No rust issues, or repairs on the under side of this car. The under carriage is as stunning as the exterior of the car. NO scratches or dings, only a few areas of VERY minor checking in the lacquer paint. New exhaust system and priced to sell below comps according to the Old Car Price Guide. Certainly, a once in a lifetime chance to own a piece of history, and rumored to have been a certain Beverly Hill's celebrity's vehicle... Museum quality that has never been sold to the public. This car needs to be shown, driven and appreciated by everyone. Remember, they are only original once!
