A 1966 Oldsmobile 442 hardtop dressed in red makes for a great muscle car look. As you dig deeper, you're going to see the right mix of vintage style and terrific upgrades. So you have the correct (and rare) 442 motor, tri-power on top, and four-on-the-floor. This is joined by an upgraded suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, and an upgraded dash for a terrific total package that's made to be enjoyed.

The 1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass is already a great-looking car. The extra wide .....
headlights and stacked taillights gave these a mature appearance that let them own the road. But this straight-laced classic coupe has a serious wild streak thanks to the Holiday hardtop body and correct tri-color 442 badging. And the upgrade to red later in life was the right call. It's a professional application that looks good against the shining bumpers, and at the same time, it gives this muscle car the appropriate flair. This is a cool classic, but it's also not meant to be a museum piece. In fact, while the wheel may have some resemblance to the classic Super Stock units, and the redline tires are retro-cool, it's actually a modern 20-inch package made to let this wear grippy modern rubber.

The black interior looks great against the red exterior. It's dark, well-kept, and has the right amount of texture in the upholstery to feel premium. Two wide rows of bench seats make this a fun classic, but there's more to the story. This one is subtly upgraded to be a better cruiser. That's why you have the retro-style AM/FM radio. And there are nice stock pieces for a better driver, like the fold-down center armrest, a grippy dual-spoke steering wheel, and power steering. Plus, the tilt column and Dakota Digital gauge upgrade give you a commanding driving position. And the integrated tach goes quite well with the Hurst floor shifter.

We all love the look of the Oldsmobile golden motor under the hood. And you'll love being about to tell people that this is a rare era-correct 442-specific E-code 400 cubic-inch block. While that is the kind of history we love in a muscle car, this era is all about power. So it's awesome to see a triple set of Rochester dual-barrel carburetors. This tri-power monster motor fires up nicely, and it makes a great sound out of the H-pipe dual exhaust. The four-speed manual transmission gives you full control over the full power and speedy soundtrack. Plus, take some time to look underneath. There you'll spot some terrific upgrades, like the Global West tubular front control arms, a four-link rear with boxed arms, sway bars front and rear, KYB shocks, and a terrific four-wheel power disc brakes upgrade.

The sale comes complete with a car cover, new seatbelts, and new sun visors. This is the classic 442 with a nice sense of style and upgraded driver confidence to really enjoy the power out on the road. So it makes for a terrific coupe that you just know needs to be in your garage. Call today!!!
