Description
This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino is a proper Super Sport tribute with a well-coordinated color combo and the unmistakable appeal of big block power under the hood. So dig into the details on a classic that offers a terrific mix of flair, muscle, and value.

Fathom Blue is a stylish classic Chevy color, and so it's great to have this truck updated into that tradition. We always love the '70 El Caminos because of the iconic design. There's the muscle car-inspired front end with the wide .....
four-round headlight setup. And that hint of aggression continues on the SS upgrades like the cowl hood, hood pins, dual exhaust tips, and SS wheels. And we especially like how the sporty blackout SS grille, blackout rear panel, and painted racing stripes go with the premium black vinyl roof. Even the bed cover (with liner paint underneath) is done in black to give a two-tone kind of appeal. The full impression you'll get from this truck is that it's an attractive icon with an overall finish that won't make you too nervous to enjoy it to the fullest. And so this is one that can be enjoyed.

All the darkness on the outside is also a preview of the interior. This is another upgrade later in life, so details like the dash and door panels look nice. Plus, we like the updated bench seat where the fold-down armrest in the middle creates the feeling of two high-back bucket seats whenever you like. You may decide to update some details - like adding a modern stereo for good driving music - but what you'll really appreciate is how this is a proper driver's classic. You have the grippy SS steering wheel, sporty round gauge package, and even an oil pressure readout mounted on the steering column.

Under the hood is Chevy's mighty big block. The bright air grabber may have a callout to make this a proper SS396 tribute, but that's also a bit of a fib. That's because you have a LARGER powerhouse with the 454 cubic inch V8. It inhales deeply with a brand new Holley four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with a nice tune as headers feed the dual exhaust. It's a solid power package that starts and drives well. Plus, you have power steering, power brakes, a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission, and wide BF Goodrich tires on classic SS-style mags.

There's an irresistible mix of style and power on this big block El Camino. Plus, the value price for this level of packaging means you can even leave room in your budget for other details, like suspension upgrades or adding the components to restore the factory A/C. So it's time to get your hands on a true muscle car/truck classic. Call today!!!
