Did you enter the Baja 1000 but forget to prep a vehicle? Want to be apocalypse ready? Or are you just a big fan of Transformers: The Last Knight? Well, this 1972 Chevrolet K5 Blazer can have you covered for it all! With a beefy 4x4 stance, serious steel enhancements, four-wheel disc brakes, and an awesome fuel-injected LS3 upgrade, you're looking at one terrific vintage/custom 4x4 that was built to quickly cover all terrains.

For many full-size Blazer fans, this is the one. The .....
first-gen full-size Blazer was built to be a full open-top experience. But the real distinction of this one is its upgraded machismo with genuine reinforcing components. The lifted stance instantly signals this can take on any terrain, and that's just the beginning. You have a full custom cage with matching tubular steel for the other custom pieces, such as the doors, tailgate rack, and side mounts. And all that steel up front looks like it could push Optimus Prime out of the way. And speaking of the front, behind the bar lurks enough LED lights to turn night into day. And we love the details, like the paint. It's an aged copper that looks like tarnished precious metal more than a patina. All the custom exterior mounts hold useful pieces like an ax, a shovel, a high-lift jack, and duel jugs. And the custom hood seems to mix GM's iconic raised cowl and stinger designs for a mean look that lets you know there's something special within (more on that in a moment.)

Inside you can see more of how this one is ready for serious off-road business. It starts with the seats. The fronts are well-bolstered leather buckets designed to keep you planted on an uneven trail. The rear is a Corbeau suspension unit with seatbelts. This is designed for outdoor life with a liner paint inner tub, rugged rubber floors, and a locking ammo box in the rear to keep things secure. There's also a full-size spare, dual fire extinguishers, and another ax all mounted inside, so this one is ready for duty on day one. Just like the exterior, you can tell there was a lot of thought put into the details. You can have canvas panels in the doors and a full canvas top for better weather protection. The radio looks vintage, but it's a modern AM/FM digital tuner with upgraded speakers. And the driver's seat is a proper command position with a full set of upgraded readouts - including a large speedo and tach.

Because this Blazer has a powerful style, you'll love lifting the hood to see quite a powerful motor. This is a 6.2-liter fuel-injected LS3 motor. Oh yes, it's the kind of V8 that gave more modern Camaros and Corvettes an edge on the streets, so it knows how to move this classic Blazer with authority. And you'll even spot all sorts of nice additions, like an aluminum radiator with electric fans, an Optima red top battery, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. It's a strong package ideal for a ton of go-anywhere fun. And that's exactly what this Blazer was built for. After all, you not only have a two-speed 4x4 transfer case, but also Bilstein shocks, plenty of suspension lift, and meaty Maxxis Trepador tires. Plus, there's a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes when you just want in-town fun, too.

There are a lot of really cool details to this custom K5. But what we like best is its overall presentation. This was built to look like a movie vehicle, but the overall execution is no prop. This has stout construction and powerful upgrades that let you know it flexes waaaay more than just glamour muscles. That's what makes something this distinct so irresistible. Call now!
