Under the cowl hood is a clean engine bay that features a healthy 350 cubic inch small block engine mated to a TH350 automatic transmission that sends power back to a 12-bolt rear end. The engine is largely stock in appearance and features factory painted valve covers, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake manifold, Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor and factory air cleaner with proper decal. It is equipped with throaty-sounding dual exhaust system with Magnaflow mufflers as well. Drivability is enhanced with factory front power disc brakes, power steering and upgraded QA1 tubular A-arms, sway bar and adjustable coil-overs in the front with QA1 trailing arms, sway bar and coil-overs in the rear.
