first two model years. This '72 Super Beetle really is a cool one. The paint is a solid yellow, and has held up very well. The luggage rack on top really adds to the fun beachy aesthetic. inside and out this Beetle is in great shape. The seats are really nice and comfortable, especially the rear bench. The 1600 cc fuel-injected engine is a mean little powerhouse that runs nice, as does the smooth shifting 4 speed manual transmission. According to the owner, both were rebuilt in 2015, and have about 10,000 miles on them. The engine bay door is mounted for open intake, so you can really hear that motor as you gun it through the streets.
