Description
This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible is a terrific sports car with a sharp red style, four-on-the-floor, and a powerful stroker motor under the hood. But that's not the whole story on this car. It has been under the same ownership for nearly 20 years, and the added sleekness and power were upgrades that are all part of careful and considerate ownership.

Not only has this car spent two decades with the same owner, but he also gave it a multi-year restoration that was completed .....
in 2010. You see the difference in the care and investment made in the car's fundamentals with doors that close with confidence, clean glass, nice trim, and a nice shine on the bumpers and rockers. Plus, the red paint was part of this labor of love, and you can tell it was done with care but the way it retains a quality shine today. The full impression wasn't made to be a museum piece, and you'll understand that once you check out the added performance. Instead, it just has that attractive look where someone has taken the extra time to love a sleek Stingray.

Beneath the black folding roof is an attractive black interior. The major fundamentals like the dash, door panels, and seats look dark and clean. So it's a nice driver for top-down fun. And driving is at the heart of this car's appeal. The three-spoke steering wheel feels grippy in your hands, the factory readouts are enhanced with an aftermarket tach mounted on the steering column, and the Hurst shifter is just calling out for your right hand. So while you have an AM/FM/CD stereo, you really know your favorite soundtrack starts under the hood.

Your first impression of the engine bay will be about clean power. After all, it doesn't try to get too flashy, and instead, the black Chevy valve covers and matching air grabber have the right look for serious V8 power. This started as a 350 cubic-inch V8, and we're told it was built to a 383ci stroker motor. It has been upgraded with Edelbrock aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with a four-barrel carburetor. The long tube headers add to the power while giving a terrific tune to the dual exhaust. You have proper control over the power and rumble with the four-speed manual transmission. And speaking of control, this has power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and a fully independent sports suspension with newer front-end components.

Complete with the owner's manual, this is a great icon that has the right care and the right features to really be enjoyed. So don't miss out, call today!
