Here's a bold-looking 4x4 with V8 growling upgrade, off-road prowess, and a cool patina style. So you know this 1974 Jeep CJ5 is the right kind of machine for those who love to have a very capable true classic.
If you like the Jeep life, then you'll likely love the way this one looks. The red actually shows all the right signs of being the original factory application. It hasn't been babied or tucked away from life, and so the scuffs, chips, and scratches are like a living .....
history. But there is a difference between being used and being abused. That's why the clean and complete appearance shows this one has an earned respect. So it wears its patina with pride. Part of this useful life also means the right useful upgrades. This includes a raised suspension that helps you fit the polished American Racing wheels and tall off-road tires. And those large polished exhaust pipe hints at upgraded V8 power.
The sale comes with a black bikini soft top and doors for when you want some extra coverage. But this one still looks best when fully open to the world. The bucket seats are part of a newer package. They have plenty of comfortable bolstering and also are finished in durable and weather-resistant vinyl. The rear bench is also covered in matching vinyl. Features like the roll bar and AutoMeter auxiliary readouts are nice additions for when it's time to get serious about off-road work. But you'll also appreciate the added Bluetooth stereo that was added for whenever you also want to have fun with your 4x4.
The original motor in the CJ5 was good, but this is the upgrade we all wish we had: 350 cubic inches of Chevy V8 power. This hardy powerplant is almost infinitely upgradeable, which is why it already benefits from performance components such as a Holley dual plenum air intake, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock aluminum intake, and Hedman headers. They made sure this has the correct supporting components, including MSD ignition, an Optima battery, and an aluminum radiator with a big electric fan. Jeeps are off-road kings, so the three-speed manual transmission is linked to a two-speed transfer case for true 4x4 ability. The lift kit gives the suspension plenty of travel when it really counts, and the Nitto Extreme Terrain Mud Grappler tires are engineered to find traction when others are just sliding around. There's even power steering and front disc brakes to make even rolling through town easier.
This CJ5 does a great job of mixing true vintage style with truly useful power. Call today!!!
