This 1985 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was refurbished between 2019 and 2021 during its previous ownership of 24 years, with work including repainting the exterior metallic brown with faux woodgrain trim, replacing suspension components and the steering box, and rebuilding its carburetor and three-speed automatic transmission. Powered by a 360ci V8, the truck is also equipped with a dual-range transfer case, a roof rack, 15 alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, power windows, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo. The rear brake shoes were replaced following its acquisition by the seller in 2021.
The truck is said to have been refinished in its current shade of metallic brown in 2019, and it features faux woodgrain trim on the sides and rear hatch. Exterior equipment includes a roof rack, a power tailgate window, and a receiver hitch. The left-side window flex tracks and headlights were replaced under current ownership.Multi-spoke 15 alloy wheels wear 235/75 Goodyear Wrangler Trail Runner A/T tires with 2021 date codes. The shocks and steering box were replaced in August 2020. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums brakes, and the rear brake shoes were replaced in December 2021.
The 360ci V8 was factory rated at 140 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Work since 2020 included rebuilding the carburetor and replacing the water pump, power steering belt, alternator, battery, spark plugs, ignition box, starter solenoid, and motor mounts as well as gaskets, seals, and hoses. The windshield wiper fluid reservoir is leaking.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system with a shift-on-the-fly dual-range transfer case. The transmission was rebuilt in August 2020, and its mounts were replaced in October 2021. Corrosion can be seen on various underbody components, additional photos of which are provided in the gallery.
Service records and handwritten refurbishment notes are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Missouri and Florida, with a gap in entries between 2010 and 2020.
