Sporting new front ends with totally redesigned hoods complete with a faux scoop, new-look "Honeycomb" grilles, new fender-mounted "Gun-Sight" ornaments, and updated parking lights and bumpers, the '58 Fords had a new, more futuristic appearance. Down the sides, the gold anodized trim was both widened and lengthened from the previous year's design, running nearly the full length of the 1958 Fords.
