So on October 19 I went to Peotone, IL for the fall Chicagoland Petroleum and Advertising Show.
This show is perfect for the beginner or novice collector. The quality of the items and the quantity are outstanding as well as the prices. This is the first time I've been to this show and I would encourage anyone that has an interest in the advertising hobby to come to this show.
The show is held twice a year once in the spring and once in the fall and they are both held at the Will County Fairgrounds. It is is a great season opener and season closer, for me, I know I will be going to both next year.
The gas show season has ended for me so I will be doing more articles about other specific Petroliana in the future.
